SUMMARY:Aurora's Life History Nature Camp
DESCRIPTION:Aurora’s habitats are as diverse as the constituents that live among them\, and in this summer camp for older youth we get the chance to travel to a few more of our open spaces for some fun\, hands on learning and stewardship activities. From habitat restoration to wildlife monitoring to this camp combines environmental stewardship\, Aurora’s colorful history\, and adventure. Camp starts and ends at Morrison Nature Center with campers transported to other open spaces in the middle.

DESCRIPTION:Free Event\, Please Register here. \n“Earth Listening Circles provide a sacred space for guided meditation\, reflective dialogue\, and the cultivation of collective wisdom\, empowering participants to address today’s pressing issues with renewed strength\, clarity\, and purpose.” – Pachamama Alliance \nConnect deeply with nature and build community in this three hour event focused on listening to ourselves\, the earth\, and each other. \nJoin us as we take the morning to slow down and reconnect with nature. We will have an indoor and outdoor reserved spot at Bluff Lake that is comfortable\, quiet\, and out of the way so that we can focus on our gathering. The weather is part of the deal\, so please dress in comfortable layers to spend some time outdoors. These get togethers are led by Sheri Peterson\, a certified Nature Connected Coach and Transformational Wilderness Guide. These circles will happen once every two months to provide a longer and more in-depth mindfulness activity. Recommended age 16 and up. \nSheri also leads our monthly Wonder Wanders.
